Namespace Nite.Observability
Classes
- NiteHealthCheck
Reports whether Nite can serve the app. In development: Degraded while packages install or dependencies pre-bundle, Unhealthy if that failed (a typo in nite.json, a package that does not exist) or if
UseNitenever ran. In production: Unhealthy if the build output is missing, which usually means the publish did not runnite build.
- NiteTelemetry
Nite's traces and metrics, through .NET's own ActivitySource and Nite.Observability.NiteTelemetry.Meter, so the library needs no OpenTelemetry package. To collect them, add the names to your OpenTelemetry setup (in an Aspire app, the ServiceDefaults project):
.WithTracing(tracing => tracing.AddSource(NiteTelemetry.SourceName)) .WithMetrics(metrics => metrics.AddMeter(NiteTelemetry.MeterName))Nothing is recorded, and nothing costs anything, until a listener subscribes.
